Big Boi Arrested For Drug Possession
And you thought YOUR Monday was bad -
According to bumpshack.com, Big Boi (aka Antwon Patton) was arrested yesterday afternoon after exiting a cruise, when drug dogs and customs officials realized the rapper was carrying ecstasy pills, MDMA powder, and unprescribed Viagra pills on his person.
The Miami-Dade County Corrections Department charged Big Boi with three counts possession of a controlled substance and one count possession of drug paraphernalia.
The 36-year-old Outkast member was held on $16,000 bail, but there have been no reports if he’s been released or not.
Now, of course, bringing drugs on an international cruise line was dumb – surely he should have assumed that customs would be checking his stuff, and carrying three illegal substances on you at one time is a pretty bold move, even if you are a world-renowned performer.
On the other hand, though… MDMA, ecstasy, AND Viagra? Sounds to me like he had an AMAZING weekend. Guess he can think about that when he’s sleeping on a cot in jail.
