Someday in the history of Google, when they make a top 10 Most Searched List of 2010, I am guessing that “Tiger Woods” will be in the top… oh, I don’t know… 5? His late night car accident back in November and the tabloid fury that followed will quite possibly be one of the most followed news stories of this very new decade. This morning at 8am, after 3 months of withdrawing from the public eye, Woods finally came out and made a public statement, surrounded by a small group of close associates and reporters.

He apologized to his family and friends, and those who looked up to him, asking “to find room in your heart to one day believe in me again.” He said his actions were “wrong and foolish” and said, “I have a lot of work to do and I intend to dedicate myself to doing it.”

You could tell the whole announcement was a little scripted, and perhaps he had help from a speech writer, but all in all, you can tell he’s genuinely sorry. If you ask us, it sounded a lot like he wished he didn’t have to make such a public statement about such private matters. Any way you slice it, the guy got some (a whole bunch of) extra-marital booty, and now he feels bad. Can’t that be enough?

It’s the news headline everyone’s been waiting for… John Edwards, two time failed presidential nominee, has a sex tape. Edwards’ mistress is suing his former aide for the return of videos and photographs which depict “matters of a private and personal nature.” Which in lawyer-speak probably means dirty, raunchy sex. This comes on the heels of his admittance that he fathered a child with his mistress, which in lawyer-speak means he has officially ruined his political career.

His aide claims to have “feared for his life,” once Edwards found out that he had the tape and had been offered a “gigantic sum of money to sell it,” saying he slept with his whole family as well as a gun in his bed.  We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again, why do high-profile people make sex tapes? Isn’t it obvious at this point that they will get out to the public? At least save it on a flash drive and lock it in a safe, silly!

If a girl’s looks can make your head turn, it’s a good day. If that same sexy girl has the comedic chops to make you cry from laughter, you’ve got a keeper. These ladies from TV and movies today show that funny is the new sexy!

After working mostly behind the scenes on SNL, we finally got to see her awesome comedic timing with her impeccable impressions of Sarah Palin during the ’08 elections. Combine that with her adorably awkward Liz Lemon role on 30 Rock, and you’ve got one of the most successful and sexy nerds of all time.

2) Sarah Silverman

Most of Sarah Silverman’s comedy is so raunchy it can’t be shown on cable television, and yet somehow that just makes her a little hotter in our eyes. Incredibly funny, totally sexy, and filthy rich? It’s crazy to think that she was once fired from the writing staff of SNL!

3) Chelsea Handler

Don’t let that sweet innocent smile trick you, Chelsea Handler is the queen of mean-spirited celebrity gossip! Alright, maybe it is all in fun, but I sure wouldn’t want to have to face her wit and dry sarcasm. Still, her sexiness paired with viciousness makes her the ultimate package.

4) Kristen Wiig

The saving grace of SNL today, Kristen Wigg is a riot, creating the most cringe-worthy,  awkward characters on the show. From Gilly, to Penelope, to my personal favorite, the Target Lady. You’d never think of her as mind-blowingly hot, but this picture begs to differ.

5) Aisha Tyler

She’s been working her way to the top for some time now. From her humble begininnings on Talk Soup, to her recent hilarious appearance on Curb Your Enthusiasm, the sky is the limit for this smokin’-hot comedian. This picture makes us look forward to the future even more!
