There was a distinct line at my elementary school between the kids who loved Sim City and the kids who loved Oregon Trail. I’ll be honest: I was a Sim City type of girl. Building towns and then watching them crumble at the hands of your hideously inept governing skills… it was AWESOME.

However, I am not one to deplore the merits of the only PC game that killed your grandma, so when this hilarious parody movie trailer hit the ol’ intarnetz, I had as hearty a laugh as anyone. Enjoy, and good luck with the dysentary.

It’s only been a day of Comic Con madness, but already we’re pretty sure we’ve figured out the most exciting part of the convention thus far: the big reveal of the the trailer for “TRON: Legacy,” and boy are we excited. Jeff Bridges all Benjamin Buttoned out, that girl who always does the lesbian scenes, and LIGHTCYCLES? You know we love lightcycles. Needless to say, the trailer is everything we could have imagined and more, so check it out below and let us know what you think before you cave and buy a Street Legal Tron Lightcycle like I want to so desperately.

If seeing the 7 greatest action heroes of our time on screen together wasn’t enough to get you pumped on the new Expendables movie, I shall safely you are not a man. In fact, if the reappearance of Dolph mothereffing Lundgren on the big screen wasn’t enough to get you excited, then it’s 95% likely that you do not have testicles. However, we’ll give you one more chance.

Watch this should-have-been trailer for some inspiration to see the new movie, The Expendables, and then get your tickets in advance for the August 13th release. We can’t let this happen.

I’ve always been a little weirded out by Woody Harrelson. My parents loved Cheers, and No Country For Old Men was awesome, but that scene from Kingpin with the gross old lady in the rearview mirror and her fingers and tongue… it just… iickkk. Scarred me.

However, Zombieland changed all that for me. His performance in that movie was awesome, and I now have a new found respect for him.

Luck for me, Mr. Harrelson is the host of this week’s Countdown to the World Cup (post)!

The video below looks like it should be out of a cheesy sports movie starring Sandra Bullock or something — and also during this scene there is some John Williams score in the background, and also there is a small child who really looks up to Woody because his dad is a deadbeat? Or something?

But it’s not, it’s just a charity soccer match with some celebrities and ex-soccer-stars for UNICEF, but either way, it’s still awesome. The End.

People are often offended when they find out that my number one celebrity crush is Bill Murray. That statement is usually followed by something along the lines of “Wait, is there some hot up-and-coming new actor with the same name as the wrinkly aging star of such movies as Caddyshack, the Royal Tenenbaums, and Zombieland?” To which I reply, “Nope, that wrinkly aging star is my dream man.” Which is followed by gagging and repulsion and them stating that we shouldn’t be friends anymore.

However, I just found proof that there are other ladies out there who share my love for elderly comedic actors. Case in point:

Sure, they could just be money-grubbing club rats looking to hook up with a celebrity, but in my mind, they are nice, honest women who just enjoy the company of one of the most hilarious actors of our time. It could happen, right?
